Dashfield is a smart, savvy, streetwise and intellectual cat who digs David Bowie as much as the Dalai Lama.
Every day Dashfield will pop up on your phone with an inspiring message to help you improve your life. This is followed up with some indispensable wisdom, a special quote and a unique piece of art linked to the message. Every day, like clockwork, 365 a year. 365 life-improving little parcels.
Or in his own words...

“Hullo, I’m Dashfield.
I am here to help. Or at least I hope I can.
I think I am pretty compassionate and understanding but sometimes I might give you a bit of tough love. I really want to compel you to make a difference to your life and that might propel you in to a whole happy new you.
So, my story?
I lived high in the roof above the British Library in St. Pancras. All those books. That’s where I learnt my trade. I was a library cat. I spent years there poring over the books and learning all sorts on foreign cultures and mythologies, psychiatry and psychology, even ologies I didn’t even know existed. It was splendiferous!
But after a few years, when I had read all there was to read, I decided that a cat has to stretch his legs. One night, I packed up my belongings in a handkerchief and headed out of the cosy library room to see the world.
I travelled all over, for years, from America to Africa and Johannesburg to Japan, learning about other cultures, religions and people.
Back in London and at home in the library now. I think I am savvy and smart, I’m nobody’s fool. Most of all I recognise that life is for living. I see things as they are, not perceptions of it and I live here, right in this moment. I am not religious but I think I have studied most of them. I kind of dig Buddhism. But maybe I am just into Dashism! But if I had to have a credo it would be this, ‘What is, is.’ It’ll make sense the more you get to know me.
I love people, and the things they say. Whether it’s my cousin Daiki or big thinkers like Einstein, Mohandas Gandhi, Muhammad Ali or The Fonz on Happy Days. I also love music and David Bowie is my all-time favourite, that cat can sing! I also like to read and there’s not much better than Shakespeare when it comes to that.
And remember, you’ve got to lighten up sometimes, you only go round this crazy merry-go-round once. Me? I get nine goes!
Come on!
